Beazley, the insurer we place your business with, is updating how they process direct debits. Going forward the new payment processor will be GoCardless. You’re probably already familiar with GoCardless, but here’s what you can expect from this update.
How does this affect existing customers?
Customers currently have two methods of paying for their policy:
- Direct debit
- Bank transfer
The majority of customers pay via a monthly or annual direct debit. If you have a direct debit with Beazley Solutions then your existing direct debit will be automatically migrated to GoCardless. There is no action required.
Customers who purchased a policy between 2016-2017 are likely to be invoiced by With Jack on an annual basis. This payment method is unaffected.
How does this impact new customers?
There’s a change to the onboarding process. Instead of completing your transaction through With Jack’s website, you’ll receive a separate email from Beazley—the insurer we’re arranging your insurance with—that contains a link to set up your direct debit via GoCardless.
The payment link will expire so it’s important to take action to avoid interruption to your cover.
If you have any questions then please reach out.
Note: Whilst we’re on the topic of direct debits, we are aware customers using Revolut are experiencing issues with direct debits being cancelled. This is currently being investigated, but it appears Revolut are aware of the issue and they’re trying to fix it.
